This is a two-plate collagraph print constructed from two plates of mount-board. The first plate has been collaged, cut and torn to create a textured background and the second board has been more carefully incised to create a pattern of trees to overlay the first plate. The image was inspired by a hedgerow detail in an area of the Yorkshire Wolds locally known as Fairy Dale.
