I am an entirely self-taught artist. I was born and raised in the wild and vast county of Lincolnshire.
It is this deeply rural aspect of where I live that has influenced my artwork.
The lonely structures, whether church, abbey or stone which rise out of it\'s landscape and the
ever moving and often turbulent skies are a constant source of fascination.
Lincolnshire has a rich folkloric tradition which I love to explore and interpret.
I use various mediums within my work but favour the tonal quality of pen, wash and hard pastel.
I show my work throughout the county and recently exhibited in the magnificent Chapter House of Lincoln Cathedral.
